Call of Duty MW3: Zombies or MWZ, short for Modern Warfare Zombies, is a PvE permutation of MW2’s DMZ mode. As with any online game MWZ is also plagued by issues. Post MW3’s latest update, players are complaining about Modern Warfare 3 Zombies not loading issue.

Modern Warfare Zombies Not Loading Issue – Fixes
Run as Administrator
Restarting the game client in Administrator mode can sometimes fix the Modern Warfare Zombies not loading issue:
- Right-click on Modern Warfare Zombies and click on Properties.
- Next, go to the Compatibility tab.
- Select Run this program as an administrator.
- Tap on Apply and confirm.
- The application will now run as an administrator
Verify Game Files
Verify the integrity of the game files with the following steps:
- Launch Steam.
- Right-click on MWZ.
- Next tap on Properties.
- Go to the Local Files tab.
- Tap on the Verify Integrity of Game files.
- This will check for any corrupted or missing files and download them if necessary.
Reinstall The Game
If all else fails, try to uninstall and reinstall the game as this step will clear the bugs and resolve the Modern Warfare Zombies not loading issue.
- To uninstall the game.
- Launch Steam.
- Right-click on MWZ.
- Tap on Properties.
- Go to the Local Files tab.
- Click on Browse Local Files.
- The MWZ folder will open and delete it.
After uninstalling the game, install it on Steam again it will launch without any errors.
Check MWZ Server Status
You can check the server status of MWZ via the official social media channels for Call of Duty.
It can also be checked on the MWZ Twitter handle or Downdetector.
If the server is down you need to wait. The MWZ team is trying to solve the issue for you. They will soon have the servers up and working smoothly.
