Whoever opens a Legendary chest in GPO is most likely to get a Legendary Devil Fruit. It also has a very rare chance of granting a Mythical Fruit.

Irrespective of whether you play or win a Battle Royale match in solos, duos or squad matches, you will get a Legendary Fruit in GPO.
