If you want to install Remix OS for Mac, the article below should help you out.

How To Install Remix OS for Mac?

To install Remix OS for Mac, you need to download Remix OS for Mac as well as the Remix OS USB Tool.  Even after you have installed these, you will face some issues when trying to use Remix OS on a Mac.

This is because the Remix OS USB Tool is not compatible with Mac. You should rename the ISO file to “RemixISO.iso” and relocate it to your Desktop.

You will now need to convert this “RemixISO.iso” file to “RemixISO.img”.  To do this, you will need to open the Terminal and enter the command given below.

hdiutil convert -format UDRW -o Desktop/RemixISO.img Desktop/RemixISO.iso

By following this process, you will get the output file “RemixISO.img.dmg.”. Now, you need to remove the .dmg extension. You should now have a file named “RemixISO.img.”

After this, you need to open Disk Utility and select your USB drive. Then, you need to format it as “MS-DOS (FAT)” and choose to Erase

This will delete all the data on your USB Drive so you should create a backup before proceeding.

You can now write the Remix OS IMG file to the USB Drive and make it bootable. For this, you will need to open the Terminal and use the command given below to list connected services.

diskutil list

diskutil unmountDisk /dev/diskX sudo dd if=Desktop/RemixISO.img

of=/dev/rdiskX bs=1m diskutil eject /dev/diskX

Lastly, you need to turn off your Mac device while you hold the option key. This will provide you with two boot options. You can pick the one that suits you and boot up.

You will get Guest Mode or Resident Mode options in Remix OS 3.0. However, the Guest mode does not retain your data and you will need the USB Drive. Meanwhile, you can bypass the USB drive for Resident mode.

If you opt for Resident mode, you need to select Resident mode and then press TAB. After this, you need to enter “androidboot.hardware=remix_x86_64 androidboot.selinux=permissive

quiet SRC= DATA= DATA_IN_MEM=1 DPI=265 UVESA_MODE=2880×1800”.

When you do this, the system will boot with Remix Operating System 3.0. This should take about 2 or 3 minutes. The time taken depends a lot on your system configuration as well.

This is the process to install Remix OS for Mac. Once you are done with it, you will see your Remix OS for Mac screen. From here, you only need to set up Remix OS 3.0.

You can choose a language you are comfortable with from the list. However, that is not all as you will also have to accept the user agreement before clicking Start and launching Remix OS.

Once you are done, you will be able to use Android apps on your Mac device without needing emulators or opting for another OS.

This is everything you need to know to be able to install Remix OS for Mac.
