How to Reset WiZ Light?
Apply the following troubleshooting steps to rest the light and fix the issues with your WiZ light.
Remove the Light from WiZ App
Resetting the WiZ light is quite easy the first thing you need to do is remove the light from the WiZ app. If you don’t know how to remove the light from the app then you can do it by using the steps written below:
- First, open the WiZ App on your iPhone or Android device.
- Navigate to the room in which the smart light is placed.
- Here locate the light bulb you want to remove.
- Now tap on the ellipsis icon in the upper-right corner.
- From the menu select Settings.
- Tap on the downward arrow next to the light name and select Delete device.
- Tap on Delete to confirm the action.
- That’s it.
Once you remove the light from the WiZ app the next step is to pair it again.
Connect Your WiZ Light to Your WIFI Network
Once you remove your smart light from the WiZ app then the next thing you need to do is reconnect the light to your WIFI network. Here is how you can do it:
- To connect your smart light with WIFI network the first thing you need to do is put it on Pairing Mode.
- To do that, switch the light on and off five times by using the power switch and wait one to two seconds each time.
- Once the light starts to blink it will be ready to pair.
- Now, open up the WiZ App.
- Once you open the app a pop-up will appear that says Device Found.
- Tap on it to continue.
- If the pop-up does not appear, tap on the “+ icon” at the upper right corner and wait a few seconds for the Devices Found card to appear. Tap it to continue.
- Next, select the smart light you want to add to your network.
- Allocate it to a room and enter the WIFI password.
- Wait for a few seconds and tap Done.
- At last, choose an icon for your LED light, give it a name, and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Tap on Done to finish the process.
