Access Local Plex Web App

To claim your Plex Server, you need to access the Local Plex Web Server first. Notably, the steps of accessing the web server are different depending on how you configured your Plex Server.

To make your work easier, we have written all steps that you need to follow to access the Plex Web app.

On The Plex Server

To access the Plex Web App from the Plex server, follow the steps written below:

First, open your web browser.
Enter http://localhost:32400/web or http://127.0.0.1:32400/web on the search bar and hit Enter.
When you do so, the Plex Web App will load up on the Plex Server.

On The Same Network

If you are on the same network as Plex Server then you can access the Plex Web App by using the following steps.

Open your default web browser.
Type http://[Plex Server IP Address]:32400/web into the search bar and hit the Enter button.
When you do so, the Plex Web App will load up on the same server.

Claim Your Plex Server

After accessing the Plex Web App, you need to follow the steps given below to claim the Plex Server.

From the Plex Web App, click on the Settings icon from the top right corner.
Under the Settings option, choose General.
There, you will see the Claim Server button on the right.
Now, click on it to claim your Plex Server.
