The Apex Legends Final Fantasy event is now underway. The event brings plenty for Final Fantasy VII fans, including six character skins based on the iconic Final Fantasy VII characters and themes.
Also various types of banner frames, and sprays. There is something for pretty much all collectors to get their hands on during these occasions.
The Apex Legends Final Fantasy crossover event began on January 9 in celebration of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth arriving next month. There is something for all collectors to get their hands on during these occasions.
Apex Legends Final Fantasy Event Date
The Apex Legends Final Fantasy Event brings two gaming icons to the same universe. The event will run for three weeks, from Jan. 9 to 30. There are 36 crossover items available through the in-game store.
It also includes the new Iconic rarity tier, featuring six crossover legend skins, such as Crypto’s HACKER: 1st Class modelled after the legendary Cloud Strife.
There are 36 items inspired by this first-ever crossover through dedicated Apex Legends & FINAL FANTASY™ VII REBIRTH Event packs. All 36 items will be randomly awarded via event packs with no duplicates.
Players must collect all 36 event items to receive the One-Winged Angel Death Box. It is a new cosmetic that appears when the player finishes an enemy in the standard Battle Royale mode.
Buster Sword R5 Collectors Item
The Buster Sword R5 will also be available for the Apex Legends Final Fantasy Event period, and will not appear in the Mythic Shop once the collaboration ends.
This makes the Buster Sword R5 a true collector’s item. Players who arm the weapon will get access to the Limit Break meter. It can be filled by blocking damage with the Buster Sword.
The LTM also features five Materia hop-ups, these can be applied to specific weapons to gain benefits
Gil The Event Currency
Players will earn Gil, the new event currency during the Apex Legends Final Fantasy Event. It can be acquired by participating and completing daily challenges. The Reward Shop will feature select event items, badges, and Battle Pass Stars.

The Rewards Shop returns, with an inventory that rotates weekly and features event packs, charms, and battle pass stars.
Players can purchase the 6 Iconic Legend skins such as Wraith, Horizon and Crypto via the store. Do look out for Milestone Rewards, they will be awarded after each milestone on the Apex Legends Final Fantasy Event event packs page.
Twitch Drops
Connect your EA account with your Twitch account and Tune in to select Twitch streams between January 12-30, 2024, to earn stickers while watching your favourite streamers dominate.
Players must watch these streams for an hour each to earn the sticker during the event from Jan. 12 to 21.

The Apex x Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth event is live for all platforms. The collection event, LTM, and in-game shop items will be available till Jan. 30.
The Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be out exclusively on PlayStation 5 on 29th February.
