Ever since 2023 dawned it was known to the fans of Overwatch 2 that Seasons 4 and 6 would include a new Support hero. At the start of season 5, a new trailer dropped showing off the second hero who did not have a name. Now Overwatch 2 Leaks Show New Support Hero in season 6 and it has left fans quite excited.
Overwatch 2’s upcoming season is finally set to launch on August 10. The much-awaited content will introduce three story missions and a new hero, along with a core game mode called Flashpoint and more.

Recently Overwatch 2 Leaks Show New Support Hero along with Invasion skins and the game’s upcoming support hero pics were leaked. A post from an Overwatch 2 player by the name of Stevo reveals two images of a hero named Illari. Along with her pics, some of her skins too have been made public. The Overwatch 2 Leaks Show New Support Hero will have nine skins of which three were revealed in the pics. They are Daybreak, Sundown and Llama Pajamas. Next to Illari’s name is a small but noticeable support icon.
The player who posted them asked along with the post, “Can’t be a healing turret character can it?”
As soon as Overwatch 2 Leaks Show New Support Hero, A Streamer who goes by the name of Akash claims Illari is of Peruvian descent. They came to the conclusion due to her name and a number of her skin’s names are from the Quechua language.
Streamer Akash also claims that Illari has a destructible healing turret along with a cooldown-based ability. Also, a histcan-like beam that deals damage or heals depending on who it’s targeting.
When is the new Hero coming to Overwatch 2?
Overwatch 2’s upcoming PvE missions are finally set to launch on August 10 with the release of OW2’s sixth season. But ahead of the new season developers are warning players that some of them might lose a bit of their progression with the new season’s launch.
They further added that current lifetime challenges players have completed for individual heroes( the ones that reward the player). They will be transferred to the new progression system. But progress on incomplete challenges will be lost in the update.
“Any current progress on these lifetime challenges will not transfer over into the new player progression system,” a dev announced on the Blizzard forums.
