Yuzu is a free and open-source emulator of the Nintendo Switch from the creators of Citra. It enables players to play their favourite hybrid console games.
Unfortunately, the Yuzu emulator does not always work smoothly. There are plenty of issues and errors that players will have to encounter while emulating games using the Yuzu emulator.
One of them is Yuzu stuck on the loading or launching screen. So if you too are facing the issue of Yuzu Stuck on the launching or loading screen then don’t worry, we have got you covered.

How To Solve Yuzu Stuck on Loading Screen
If you are using the Yuzu emulator on your PC for the first time then you’ll need to make some changes in its settings.
First, go to emulation next go to configuration and make sure multi-core CPU emulation is enabled.
Next, go to CPU and select auto from here or you can select unsafe both options are workable on the Yuzu emulator for performance. So you can use Auto Go to graphics and select these options from here as a default.
Select from here to Vulcan instead of OpenGL because Vulcan is better than OpenGL. Select from here your GPU device.
If you want to use Vulcan for your GPU device then make sure your install travels for your GPU are up to date.
Go to your PC and right-click go to properties go to device manager and go to display adapter. Right-click on the GPU device go to properties and go to drivers you will see the driver Date and Driver version already installed on my PC for my GPU.
If you are using older versions of drivers then do update drivers for your GPU first. To update drivers for your GPU go to details and here you will see the name of your GPU device.
Right-click and copy now you can search for the latest drivers for your GPU. Go back to the settings for your emulator and select from the GPU video recording default. if you are using an external GPU then select from here GPU video recording. If you are using internal GPU then select from here CPU video recordings.
If you are using multiple devices then select a powerful GPU device. Select a resolution scale 1X by default and click here to select AMD super-resolution. Go to advance and check this option Force maximum clocks Vulvan only because we are using Vulcan.
Uncheck this option use with sync and check it and check it check this option from here normal If you have a powerful GPU then select from here high but I have a simple GPU device this is why I select normal.
Go to controls and select from here docked or handheld. If your game is 32-bit then select handheld and if your game is 64-bit then select Docked.
Now okay and make sure your settings for your game are saying right click and go to properties and general select multiple and CPU and graphics an advanced all settings are same for my game. After these settings, you can play any game on your computer using the Yuzu emulator.
If you’re still facing the issue while using the Yuzu emulator then make sure your settings for your GPU are completed. Right-click and go to the Nvidia control panel or AMD or Intel HD graphics.
If you are using Nvidia GPU then go to the control panel. Go to settings and check this option and select performance from here and check it and apply Now go to manage CD settings, scroll down and select from here OpenGL rendering GPU.
Select your GPU device from here and power management mode select maximum performance from here.
Scroll down and go to texture filter quality select high performance then click on apply now click here and select from here your powerful GPU and click on apply and it’s done now close it and make sure your settings for your PC are already done.
Go to the search bar on your windows and type your Msconfig, press enter go to boot options go to Advanced options uncheck it and uncheck this option and OK and apply and OK and restart your PC now. After restarting your PC you can fix the issue for your emulator.
If you are still facing this issue while using the Yuzu emulator then restart it and make sure your emulator is up to date. If you are using an older vision of the emulator you must update it right away.
After updating it, go to the file and open the emulator folder now close your emulator and create a new folder on your PC desktop.
Open this folder cut these old files from here and paste them here. Now this folder is empty close it and reopen the Yuzu emulator.
Once reopened, go to the File and then open up the Yuzu folder and then go to the Keys folders. After that, go to your old folder for your keys and make sure you are using the latest version of prod keys for your emulator.
If you are using the older version of the Key then please update it first. If you have a new key for your emulator then copy it and go to the folder and paste it.
Go to the net folder and system and content register and make sure you have updated Premiere files in your emulator.
If you have the latest version of Premiere for your Yuzu emulator then you will see files 16.0.1. Now, copy these files and paste them. Once it is done, close the folder.
Relaunch the Yuzu emulator and then select your game directory and then go to emulation configuration and use the same old settings for your your Yuzu emulator.
