UIDAI has launched the Aadhaar Face RD app that will enable Aadhaar cardholders to authenticate their 12-digit identity number using their face. But as with any online app, this too has issues as Aadhaar card users are facing Aadhaar Face RD Error 9913.

Uninstall/Reinstall the Aadhaar Face RD App

The first and foremost step to solve the Aadhaar Face RD Error 9913 is to uninstall your old Aadhaar Face RD app.

  • Go to settings on your device.
  • Click on Apps.
  • Locate the Aadhaar Face RD app and tap on Uninstall.
  • The app will be uninstalled.
  • Now go to the store and search for the Aadhaar Face RD app.
  • Click on Install app and the app will be reinstalled on your device.

Check Internet Connection

If you are facing Aadhaar Face RD Error 9913 then make sure your internet connection is fast and stable. If you are using Wi-Fi, make sure that the Wi-Fi signal strength is strong, as a weak signal can lead to connectivity issues.

Do try to place your router closer to your TV or place it higher where there are no barriers.

Use an internet speed test tool to check the speed of your internet connection. An Ethernet cable will also be much better compared to using a wireless connection but do ensure that the cable is securely plugged in on both ends.

  • Go to Settings and tap on Apps & notifications > Aadhaar Face RD.
  • Tap on the Force Stop icon.

On iPhone

  • Open your iPhone and swipe up on the Aadhaar Face RD preview to close the app.

Clear Cache

An overloaded cache is another reason you may face issues with the app. Clear the app cache to resolve the error.

  • Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > Aadhaar Face RD > Storage > Clear Cache.
  • iPhone: Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage >Aadhaar Face RD > Offload app > Reinstall app.

Update Aadhaar Face RD App

  • Go to Google PlayStore or App Store.
  • Tap on My Apps.
  • Click on Manage Apps and tap on Updates Available.
  • Locate the Aadhaar Face RD app and tap on the Update button next to it to update the app to the latest version.
  • Or select the Update All option and update all applications.
