You may be getting the iMessage is signed out error due to accidentally disabling iMessage on your iPhone. To check this, go to Settings on your device and check if iMessage is toggled on.

Update iPhone or iPad

Set Time/Date To Automatic
If the date and time on your iPhone or iPad have been set wrong you may face an issue.
- Go to Settings on your device.
- Tap on General.
- Click on Date & Time.
- Toggle on the Set Automatically button.
Update iOS
- Make sure your device is updated to the latest version.
- Tap on General.
- Click on Software Update.
