In Rune Slayer, there are several factions that you can join and complete their missions to get exclusive rewards and progress further in the storyline.
Currently, there are only two factions available – The Holy Faction and Demonic Faction.
To join any of these two factions in Rune Slayer, you need to talk to their NPCs.

These NPCs are located at a secret location and you want to find them and talk to them to join these Factions.

Rune Slayer The Holy And Demonic Factions Guide
Fortunately, both The Holy and Demonic Factions are located at the same location in the game.
To get there, start your journey from the Starter Village and go to the Wilderness.
There, take a left turn and continue going straight until you see mountains in front of you.
When you get close to the Mountain, you will see the River. This river is filled with Crocodiles so make sure to cross this river carefully.

Once you cross this river, you will see the entrance of the Lakeshire Village.
From here, instead of joining inside the village, take a right turn and go straight.
Here, you will see the Cave, go inside, and talk to the NPC standing next to the Elevator.

Now, stand on the elevator and it will take you to another floor where you need to turn around and climb up.
Now, continue climbing until you reach the Knight’s Templar.
Go inside and you will see “The Holy Faction” NPC standing in front of you.
Talk to this NPC and join The Holy Faction in Rune Slayer.
If you want to join the Demonic Faction in Rune Slayer, go back to the elevator location and speak to the NPC standing next to the huge door.
Once you speak to this NPC, he will open the door for you. Enter inside and you will be at the “Balgaron Chams” location.
At this location, you will find various demons. To find the Demonic Faction NPC, you need to go to the left side of this area while surviving from these demons.
If one of these Demons sees you, they will start chasing and shooting flames at you that deal lots of damage so be careful.
Once you are on the left side of the “Balgarun Chams” location you will see edges.
Use these edges and go deep inside this area. After covering some distance, you will see a huge hole on the ground.
You need to go inside this hole. While getting inside, make sure to not touch the lava otherwise you will die.
Here, you will see a lanterns and red floor. To find the Demonic Faction NPC, you need to follow these lanterns.
Once you follow these lanterns, you will reach the Demon Sect area.
This is the location where you can find the Demonic Faction NPC.
Talk to this NPC to join the Demonic Faction.
