How to Fix Elementor Editor Not Loading

Elementor Editor Not Loading Solutions:

If Elementor Editor isn’t loading, do try to clear your browser cache, deactivate plugins, or one can also try switching to a default theme. 

Enabling Elementor’s “Switch Editor Loader” option is also helpful, and so is checking your PHP version.

Clear Browser Cache:

Clearing your browser’s cache can resolve issues.  

  •  Open Chrome and tap on More.
  • Click on More Tools. 
  • Clear browsing data.
  • Select a time range and tap on All Time.
  • Check boxes next to “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files.” 
  • Click on Clear data.

Update Elementor

Outdated plugins can cause issues, so do try to update Elementor.

  • To check if your Elementor is updated to the latest version:
  • Go to Plugins
  • Click on Installed Plugins.
  •  Locate Elementor and tap on the Update Now link beside the plugin.  
  • Remember before updating back up your website. 

Check for Plugin Conflicts: 

The Elementor editor may have issues due to plugin conflicts.  To fix the error, check all the plugins.

  • Diagnosing plugin conflicts can be a challenge, so test them one by one to see which is causing Elementor to fail to load.  
  • Go to Plugins.
  • Tap on Installed Plugins. 
  • Deactivate all the plugins except Elementor. 
  • Next, activate them one by one to check which is causing the error.

Switch To The Default Theme:

 The issue could also be due to a currently activated theme. Do try to change the current theme and activate a default WordPress theme.

  • Go to your website backend area Dashboard > Appearance> Themes. And change your current theme.  
  • Switch to a default WordPress theme like “Hello Elementor” if you are planning to create your website using Elementor.

Regenerate Elementor Files: In Elementor > Tools > General, regenerate files and data. 

Cloudflare’s Rocket Loader: If you’re using Cloudflare, try disabling Rocket Loader or adding rules to prevent it from interfering with Elementor. 

Check PHP Version:

You may be facing the issue due to not updating your server’s PHP version or increasing the PHP memory limit.

To fix the issue do update the server’s PHP version and also try to improve the PHP memory limit. 

  • To update your server’s PHP version, 
  • Log in to your cPanel account.
  •  Locate the Select PHP Version and open it.
  • You’ll see an option to update to the latest PHP version.
  • Update it. 
  • You can increase the PHP memory limit
  • Edit the wp-config.php file with cPanel. 
  • After logging in to your cPanel account, go to the public_html-> your website ->wp-config.php.
  • Paste the code: define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M‘ );

Update Elementor

An outdated version of the Elementor plugin can be the reason behind the error. Do try to update it to fix the issue. 

  • Update your Elementor plugin by going to the Dashboard.
  • Tap on Plugins.
  • Click on Installed Plugins. 
  • Locate the plugin that is outdated and click on Update. 

Browser Extensions: 

Disable browser extensions to fix the issue.

  • Launch Chrome and click on the three dots.
  • Open the Menu and select Extensions.
  • Click on Manage Extensions.
  • Check the list of installed extensions. 
  • Toggle the switch and disable them
