There are many reasons for the Discord Wrapped not working issue.
The first and foremost being that the feature is still rolling out, and that too gradually. It could also be that you are using an outdated Discord app.
Or have turned off the Use data to personalise my Discord experience. It could also be an overloaded cache, a network issue and more.
Discord Wrapped Not Working Fixes:
Many users have multiple Discord accounts; they may be checking the wrong one.
- Go to Profile → Account → Email
- Confirm it is your main account
Restart the App: A simple restart can often make the banner appear. On desktop, you can also use Ctrl + R (Windows/Mac) to reload the client.
Update Discord App
- On iPhone/Android
- Open App Store / Google Play Store
- Locate Discord
- Tap Update if available.
- You can also fully close the application and reopen it to prompt an update, or right-click the Discord icon on your taskbar and select “Check for Updates”.
On Desktop
- Set Discord auto-updates.
Enable “Use Data to Personalise My Discord Experience”
This setting is important to create your recap. If it is off do enable it:
- Open Discord.
- Click on your Profile Icon.
- Tap on Settings.
- Go to Privacy & Data.
- Ensure the “Use data to personalize my Discord experience” tab is turned on.
- After enabling, restart your Discord client and check again in a few days if it still doesn’t appear.
Clear Cache (Mobile Only)
An overloaded app cache may also cause issues.
Android:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap on Apps and Applications.

- Click on Clear Cache.
iPhone:

Check for the Checkpoint Banner
Desktop/Web: Check for a new flag icon next to your inbox. If the banner isn’t showing yet, the Discord Wrapped is still rolling out.
- Mobile: Go to the “You” tab by tapping your profile picture in the bottom-right corner. Look and tap the Checkpoint banner.
- It is possible that the Discord Checkpoint has not arrived for your region. Discord has confirmed on social media that Checkpoint 2025 is gradually rolling out.
