Byakuya Kuchiki: Top choice for clearing missions and achieving high ranks.
Byakuya’s square attack is capable of hitting a group of enemies if used correctly.
Shunsui Kyoraku: Shikai (Ignition: Kageoni) – Good at chaining combos, with his heat mode’s enhanced Bushogama as it can draw in enemies with greater force. Shunsui’s ignition attack, if used near a group, can net 90+ hits
Baraggan Louisenberg: Resurrección (Ignition: Respira)Baraggan’s Respira (air triangle) can keep his combo going. Use Baraggan’s heat as the Cloud of Death when fighting a boss.
Halibel – Can wipe out entire groups of enemies with her powerful attacks. Best melee fighter in the game with Attacks of the longest ranges and highest damage outputs.
Toshiro Hitsugaya- Bankai (Ignition: Hyōten Hyakkasō) Best aerial and ranged combatant, and a close second for melee. His normal ranged attack sends out three projectiles, which expand on impact. Can summon pillars of ice to trap the enemy.
A – Tier:
Characters here are also good if you miss out on the S-Tier characters these are the best options.
Aizen: A solid choice for clearing hard missions due to his combo-keeping air orbs, though his spirit gauge depletes quickly. Sousuke Aizen- Second transformation
Isshida Uryu: Second Powers Revived – Has a great range and an ability to fire multiple shots at once in repeated succession. Isshida’s Ignition attack can be used against a large group.
Gin Ichimaru: Bankai (Ignition: Bankai) – boasts superb range and can easily deliver multiple hits on contact.
Nnoitora Gilga: Resurrección (Ignition: Cero) is considered strong, especially for achieving high combo counts with just basic attacks. Nnoitora can also keep up a combo due to his triangle ranged attack.
Sosuke Aizen: Second transformation- Sosuke’s real combo keepers are moves. One such move is the Will of the Hogyoku, for summoning an orb to defeat enemies.
Full Hollow Ichigo – The hollowized Ichigo’s attacks hit hard and fast, decimating everything in front of it or around it. Ichigo can also release a powerful forward pulse in his normal string.
Kenpachi – Spirit attack has massive coverage, great power and can hit opponents lying on the ground. The supers are pretty badass, but not powerful or practical.
B – Tier:
They are good in special conditions only.
Yoruichi Shihoin is capable of delivering multiple hits when used on a group. However, Shihoin will tire after using it for a prolonged period of time. Her triangle hits the opponent quite fast.
Ichigo Kurosaki (skullclad): Not as tough; however, his Triangle move can hit three opponents at once.
Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez: The main way to combo is his square combo, which will thrust his opponents into the air. Grimjow’s triangle and circle moves are not too reliable.
Ulquiorra Cifer: Heat attack can build up a combo if used against a large group, as they will continuously take damage.
Tia Harribel: Tia’s cortando (triangle) can keep up a decent combo and has decent range.
C – Tier:
The characters here are quite average, with spurts of random action occasionally.
Hollowfied Ichigo: A very tricky character to use, as the rest of his moveset is pretty average.
Uryu – His spirit attacks are what players use. However, he relies on his cheap spirit attack to make up for the normal string in the game.
Gin has the longest range in the game, but super moves are highly prone to missing.
Byakuya – His supers have no range, and his only saving grace is his ultimate and spirit attack.
D – Tier:
The weakest of all, avoid.
Kenpachi Zaraki
He’s the slowest character in the game in EVERYTHING. However, his attacks are powerful and cause HP drain every time they connect.
Yoruichi Her moves flow well, but can be easily sidestepped due to short-range and “fake” setups.
