Becoming A Lightning Mage In Rune Slayer
To get Lightning ability in Rune Slayer, you need to become a Lightning Mage first.
To get this ability in the game and become Lightning Mage, you must go to the Wildness and climb a specific mountain.
To get there, you need to go straight from the Starter Village until you reach the Ashenshire location.
Once you are here, take a right turn and go straight. In this direction, you will see a huge tree.

From this tree, take a right turn again and you will see a Rope in front of you.
Climb up on this rope and you will reach the mountain where you can get the lightning ability.
To get this ability, you need to climb up on the mountain which is hard especially when you don’t have a mount.
While climbing up on the mountain you will see Lighting Spheres. These spheres start shooting lightning at you when they see them.

If you encounter one then you need to take them down by Parrying them.
To defeat these little guys, you need to Parry them at the time they are about to shoot lightning at you.
You can find out when they are shooting lighting. You notice a small electric charge around them when they shoot lightning.
At that time, you need to Parry them twice. When you do so, they will perish and drop the item called Electrical Energy.
This is the item that is required to obtain the Lightning ability in the game.
These lightning spheres have a very small chance of dropping the Electrical Energy so you have to keep defeating them until you get the item.
Once you obtain the Electrical Energy, you need to continue climbing the mountain and reach the top.
At the top, you will find an NPC called Lightning Spirit.
Talk to this NPC and give it the Electrical Energy and you will receive one of the Lightning Scrolls.
You can use these scrolls to get the Lightning Ability such as Chain Lightning, Storm Sphere, and Thunder Strike.
Once you get the Lightning Scroll you will become a Lightning Mage.
