Azahar Emulator Download

For Windows, the installer (azahar-VERSION-windows-msys2-installer.exe) is recommended.
For Android, the app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or obtained from the Releases page as an APK.
Download
Windows, Linux, Mac: Download the installer file from the GitHub releases page, for example, “azahar-VERSION-windows-msys2-installer.exe”. Users may also need SevenZip for extracting files.
Linux: Use the Flatpak available on Flathub.
Android: Download the latest APK from the GitHub releases page(https://github.com/azahar-emu/azahar/releases) or install from the Google Play Store.
Installation (Windows):
- Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. Install the APK, and after installation, locate the azahar.exe file in the installation directory and run it.
- From the Azahar window, navigate to the directory where your 3DS ROMs are located.
- Click on Add Games and select the folder containing your ROMs.
Installation (Android):
- Install the APK.
- Open the Azahar app.
- Grant the necessary permissions (Notifications, Microphone, Camera).
- Select the User folder.
- Click Select, go to Internal Storage.
- Select Create New Folder, name it Azahar.
- Next, select Use This Folder and tap on OK.
- Click Next and tap on Add Games.
- Select the folder containing your 3DS ROMs.
- Tap on Next and click Continue.
Additional Settings:
- If your ROMs are in a compressed format, use SevenZip to extract them. Ensure ROMs are in the correct format.
- Tap on the three dots for Options. Next, click on Settings and go to Gamepad to map the controls of your device.
- Adjust graphics settings within the emulator (OpenGL/Vulkan, shaders, filters).
- Enable Custom Textures, Async Custom Texture Loading, for HD textures.
- Map your controller buttons and analog sticks. Including the circle pad and C stick, to the analog sticks.
- Open the in-game menu, go to Overlay Options, and check Show FPS.
- Access save states through the overlay options.
- Remove or customise on-screen touch controls through the overlay menu.
- Change the screen layout through the View > Screen Layout menu.
How to Add Cheats To Azahar
- To add cheats to your games, head to this GitHub: https://github.com/JourneyOver/CTRPF-AR-CHEAT-CODES.
- Open the Cheats folder, and a list of games will be seen here.
- Locate your game to add the Cheats.
- Check if the region and version match the game you have.
- Open the game folder, locate .TXT file (It has a long string of numbers).
- Tap on it and you’ll see a bunch of cheats.
- Tap on the Download button labelled Download raw file and download the TXT file.
- Move the .TXT file to your Azahar folder.
- You will find the Cheats Folder on your Internal Storage.
- Open Azahar, and locate the Game you added Cheats for.
- Push/hold the game with your finger.
- If the .TXT file matches your game’s region and version, you will see your cheats list. Enable or disable.
How To Enable 60FPS Cheats
- To locate 60FPS Cheats, go to https://gbatemp.net/threads/60-fps-patches-cheat-codes-releases-and-discussion.550527/.
- Locate the Game you want to add 60FPS Cheats for.
- Click on it, you’ll soon see as per the version of the game.
- Go to Azahar, push/hold game.
- You will see the Cheats menu with a Plus icon.
- In the Code box, copy/paste the 60FPS cheat code that matches your game version.
- You will now see your 60FPS cheat in the list; enable or disable it.
How To Install HD Texture Packs
- To install HD Texture Packs in Azahar, you need to find them on a per-game basis.
- Next, open Azahar, go to Options > Graphics, and enable Custom Textures.
- Boot up a game and exit.
- Now, load your HD Texture Packs inside Azahar. Name the folder as per the Title ID of the game.
